Lita’s early experiences shaped her deep passion for mosaics, an ancient art form once cherished by the Romans and Turks. Drawn to its beauty and symbolism, she dedicated herself to learning the craft—refining her skills through practice, observation, and a keen eye for technique. Over time, her talent flourished, leading to numerous commissions. Among her notable works are the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and pieces inspired by the elements—earth, wind, fire, and water.
For her, mosaicing is more than an artistic pursuit; it is a form of reflection and peace. As she assembles each fragment into a cohesive whole, she is reminded that, though our lives may feel broken, God’s grace transforms those fragments into something beautiful.

Bought in 2015 therefore we are now 10 years old. When I wondered what to do with what I had acquired, God said Aesthetic not Ascetic, and so began the construction of the houses. I began to fill it with works of art and transformed the old sheep house into an art gallery. In 2018 the Lord challenged me to start mosaicking: the first piece was from an Art Expression exercise, I decided to make it into a mosaic Mandala which later became the piece in the farm called “Who do you say I am?”
That work made me believe I was capable of making more mosaics. It was the beginning of turning the farm into an art park. Mainly scattered around the farm are the mosaic pieces including sculptures and other forms of art.
Through Art inspirations and Art expressions, I fulfilled an Aesthetically attractive Retreat house. The gardens speak for themselves, there is a botanical collection of all varieties of flowers that one can imagine. The landscaping points to the creator, the colors blend and the textures invite. As much as there is a gallery of a significant number of paintings that can lead you to prayer, there’s also an artsknita where rubbish (basura) has been turned into art — the outdoor gallery.
The farm houses 100 pekin ducks and 150 free range native chickens and a couple of pigeons. We grow our own vegetables and serve it to our retreatants. Our vegetables are organic and we cook it on the day that we harvest it. The lifestyle in the farm is conducive to wellness.
